We want to be transparent with those who have chosen to trust us. That is why we are committed to documenting and sharing our entire process from the very beginning. We strive to explain all of the behind-the-scenes complexities that a project like ours entails.

HOW WE WORK
A small blueprint, repeated with care. Designed to be operated locally — independently.
Lovemore Project is run entirely from volunteers. Our organisation has three founders who contribute to the day-to-day running of the not-for-profit, and we enlist the help of other specialised volunteers as we need. So far we have worked with volunteer architects, accountants, builders, designers, IT consultants, NGO executives, videographers and business consultants in the launching of our organisation.
A core value of our organisation is charitable commitment. We strive to keep our charitable commitment to 100% of donations. As such, we are a 100% volunteer association, with our own equipment, and working online. Therefore we have no salaries, office rentals, corporate perks, company cars, fuel cards, or any of that superfluous stuff.
We were founded as a grass-roots charity, and we aim to keep it that way.
We believe that education should be accessible to all, despite rurality, density or poverty. Lovemore Project envisions a world where every child not only has access to education, but has access to a safe, secure and homely environment from which they can undertake their studies.
The mission of Lovemore Project is simple: to provide safe and adequate shelter for children without access to it. We start with a small location: Hwange, Zimbabwe, and a small solution: a dormitory. A cost-efficient, practical and repeatable blueprint for sheltering students, making education accessible wherever we can.
For us at Lovemore we believe wholeheartedly in community partnership. From the locals in Hwange who catalysed this idea, to the World Vision executives providing the pathway, to the corporate contacts sponsoring our build, to the volunteers who have aided us in creating this project, to the personal donors, and even to you, volunteering your time to read about our cause. Community is both everywhere and inevitable.
For this project, we have partnered with World Vision Zimbabwe, who have generously donated hours of their professional time outlining the logistics needed to complete this project.
We are always on the lookout for new partners, corporate or charitable, who wish to aid us in the financing or construction of this dormitory. If this is you, don’t be afraid to hit that ‘contact’ button. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are currently working to plan the next project for Nechishala. Once funds have been raised, we will be able to define a clear budget for costs and resources and share the new fundraising goal.
